Mallika Das Sutar’s documentation of the oral histories of the marginalised voice is profoundly strong statements against deracination . She emphasizes documentation as a tool against subversion in all forms ( namely ,humiliation , oppression and discrimination ). She engages with Sahadeb Naskar , a shop owner who repairs electronic gadgets at local market place that predominantly sells Chinese electronic good, against the backdrop of India’s estranged ties with the neighbouring country and the post pandemic economy.
